Pasta is delicious. Noodles are essential for making pasta, and whether you need a gluten-free rice noodle or a whole wheat variety, there are as many options as there are variations of classic Italian dishes. Today, we'll try to determine our favourite pastas by first listing them within specific categories (in no particular order), then leaving our own preferences in the comments.

Also, Gnocchi is delicious and is more or less in a category of its own, so I'll assume that we all find it to be a fantastic noodle and doesn't require categorization.

Each category also features a 'joke' entry. The person who spots the 5 without first googling them will receive a complimentary bag of moose-shaped noodles I got at IKEA that supposedly made my girlfriend ill the following day.
