(h/t to NoirJuggling, though I read it independently last night)

When I was in middle school, my Dad took my to Daulton books in the mall and we bought a Jack Handey Deep Thoughts book as an "impulse buy" purchase. To this day, I remember reading it with my friend David and being in tears crying about it. I'd never seen something so original and lacking in context be so funny. It was, like the article notes, so damn pure. +1, Jack.
