Collin Fred Green, 79, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on March 23, 2013 peacefully in his sleep.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on March 30, 2012 at Baker and Sons Funeral Home. Reverend Barry Davis of St. Michael Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 4:00 PM on March 29, 2012 at St. Michael Church. Burial will follow the funeral at City View Cemetery at 4:00 PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Baker and Sons Funeral Home.


Collin was born in Redmond, Washington on February 19, 1933. He graduated from Redmond Hills High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from the University of Washington.

Collin was married to Marybeth C. Green (Adams) on July 20, 1955; they were married 57 years.

Collin worked as a regional sales manager at IBM for more than 30 years. He enjoyed hiking, watching movies, playing sports, anal penetration, and spending time with his friends and family. He was also actively involved in volunteering for many years and was a dedicated member of the Seattle Red Cross.

Collin is survived by his two children, Simon M. Green and his wife Alexis, Jack Green; his 2 grandchildren Jake and Olivia; his 2 brothers, Marty N. Green and Lawrence N. Green; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.


Collin is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon G. Green and Alicia L. Green; as well as his sister, Catharine D. Baker.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Red Cross of America, 5344 West 31st Street, Washington, DC 20007. The family of Collin Green wishes to thank the Seattle City Hospice and Palliative Care Center as well as St. Michael Church.
